The CVA 209 Shotgun Primer Adapter allows your PRE 2000 Staghorn muzzle loading rifle to be converted to use a 209 primer in place of the standard percussion cap. The 209 primer increases the amount of flash to the powder charge for faster ignition.
The 209 shotgun primer is the most reliable foul-weather ignition system for muzzle loading rifles. Instructions for installing the shotgun primer adapter are included.
